Dear CSHS Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to formally introduce myself as the Acting Principal of Cactus Shadows for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

I recognize that transitions in leadership can bring a wide range of emotions. Some families may feel encouraged and optimistic, while others may feel concerned or unsettled by change. I want you to know that I approach this role with deep respect for our students, our staff, and our community, and with a clear commitment to stability, continuity, and growth.

My primary focus is, and will remain, supporting our students and staff through a positive and purposeful transition. Our work does not pause during times of change. We will continue preparing students for the society they are living in today and the future they are stepping into tomorrow. That preparation requires consistency, high expectations, and strong relationships, all of which already exist within this school.

I am proud to work alongside a tremendous staff of dedicated educators and professionals who care deeply about our students. Together, we will maintain high standards in academics, attendance, and behavior. Our expectation is that every student understands their most important job right now: to be a successful high school student. That means showing up, engaging fully in learning, and demonstrating respect for themselves, their peers, and our school community.

I am here to support your children, academically, socially, and emotionally. At the same time, I need your partnership. Your voice, your encouragement, and your reinforcement at home matter greatly. When students hear a consistent message from both school and home, they are more confident, more focused, and more successful.

We are a team. Regardless of how anyone may feel about this transition, it is essential that our students feel secure and confident that they are in good hands. With the strength of our staff and the support of our families, we will ensure a smooth transition and a strong remainder of the school year.
